Iniskoy for Peace and Development Organization (IPDO) proudly participated in the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Coordination Meeting held in Baidoa. The meeting convened civil society organizations, women leaders, and key stakeholders to strengthen collaboration, enhance women’s participation in peace processes, and promote inclusive security frameworks.
The discussion focused on advancing the Women, Peace and Security agenda, increasing women’s representation in decision-making platforms, and reinforcing protection mechanisms for women and girls affected by conflict. Participants also shared experiences, challenges, and strategic approaches to ensure sustainable peace at community and regional levels.
As IPDO, we reaffirm our strong commitment to empowering women, amplifying their voices, and promoting gender equality as a foundation for long-term peace and development.
The meeting was organized and supported by SIHA NETWORK, whose continuous efforts contribute significantly to strengthening women-led movements and peacebuilding initiatives across the region.
