As usual, Human Rights Cluster and Iniskoy for peace and development organization
were planning to conduct the commemoration of International Human Rights Day, 10 Dec. 1948.
The commemoration activities cover:-
Holding a wide meeting that will host participants from Clusters, CSOs, CBOs, Ministry of Women & HR Development and Committee of HR for the Lower House Parliament.
This meeting held at CITY PALACE HOTEL.
HRC and IPDO will firstly draw a presentation that highlights Human Rights Violations in general, injecting that people are all Human Rights Defenders.
Religious members will also forward religious aspects which prohibits doing any Human Rights Violations.
Printing Posters on walls carrying Human Rights messages, being used as an outreach to populous areas.
Government Human Rights Institutions will also draw likewise speeches.
Objectives.
The main objectives of the Commemoration of 10 Dec. 1948 each year is as below:
To permanently remind the society stand for PEACE AND FIGHT AGAINST AND VIOLATIONS.
To reduce the HR violations to a possible degree under the social mobilization.
To boost the acceleration of gaining SUSTAINABLE PEACE AND PROSPERITY, AFTER ERRADICATIONS OF ALL TYPES OF HR VIOLATIONS.
The Human Rights Cluster and IPDO is representing the HR organizations in Mogadishu-Somalia and conducts the Commemorations of the International HR day yearly and this year supported by UNSOM and UDP.
For the celebration of the International HR day, the Cluster and IPDO invited the National HR Institutions e.g the Ministry of Women and Human Rights development, Committee of HR for parliament, CSOs and CBOs as they drew injective elements in their speeches towards the commemoration of the International HR day and calling for more International support to Human Rights Cluster and IPDO in order that it can possibly protect the civil and political rights of the Somali Society.
