IPDO Participated in Disaster Volunteer Preparedness Training under DVN Phase II in Baidoa

Iniskoy for Peace and Development Organization (IPDO) participated in a two-day training on Strengthening Volunteer Preparedness under the Disaster Volunteer Network (DVN) Phase II programme, held in Baidoa, South West State of Somalia, from 28–29 June 2026.
The training aimed to strengthen the capacity of community volunteers by equipping them with practical knowledge and skills in disaster preparedness and response, first aid, protection, and effective coordination among humanitarian and local actors. These competencies are essential for ensuring timely, coordinated, and effective emergency response during disasters.
IPDO’s participation reflects the organization’s continued commitment to strengthening local capacities, reducing disaster risks, saving lives, and promoting safer and more resilient communities across South West State of Somalia. Through collaboration with partners and local stakeholders, IPDO remains dedicated to advancing community resilience and effective disaster preparedness.
