Collaborative Activity: Regional Cross-Border Conference on Ending FGM

As part of a collaborative activity to strengthen regional efforts to eliminate harmful practices, Iniskoy for Peace and Development Organization (IPDO) participated in the Regional Cross-Border Conference on Ending Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), organized in partnership with UN Women, SIHA Network, and NAGAAD Network.
The conference brought together civil society organizations, stakeholders, and development partners from across the region to share experiences, strengthen cooperation, and promote coordinated actions to end Female Genital Mutilation in the Horn of Africa.
Through this collaborative platform, participants discussed strategies for community engagement, policy advocacy, and strengthening regional partnerships aimed at protecting the rights, dignity, and well-being of women and girls.
IPDO remains committed to working collaboratively with partners and communities to promote gender equality, protect human rights, and support sustainable efforts to eliminate FGM.
