On 25 February 2026, Iniskoy for Peace and Development Organization (IPDO) participated in the Community Consultation Forum organized by the KGS Peace Institute – Macahadka Nabadda, in collaboration with Somali South West Non-State Actors (SOSWENSA). The forum was held in Baidoa, Somalia, and brought together community leaders, civil society representatives, and key stakeholders.
The forum focused on the vital role of citizens in promoting peace, strengthening state-building efforts, and fostering mutual respect and coexistence within communities. Discussions highlighted the importance of active civic engagement, inclusive dialogue, and collaboration between state and non-state actors in addressing local challenges and building trust.
IPDO’s participation reflects its continued commitment to advancing peacebuilding initiatives, promoting inclusive community engagement, and supporting sustainable development efforts. The dialogue emphasized collective responsibility, community participation, and cooperation as essential pillars for building a stable and prosperous future.
